Symbols & Their Meaning

SYMBOLS
Symbols are a potent form of compact energy, being both an unconscious language and an archetypal pattern that interacts with our awareness to create powerful energy, which links with our soul and speaks also to our mind and our emotions. Symbols have been the precursor to words for thousands of years, providing cultural concepts, representations and talismans. The symbols we provide on our website are those which hold high levels of spiritual power, meaning and consciousness.  The potency of their vibration is able to act upon our essence, creating frequencies of light, healing and awakening, which are highly beneficial to the process of spiritual evolution.

THE ANKH - is a symbol which personifies Egypt, being the symbol of all life for both divine entities and humans. The ankh is a key which accesses the hidden mysteries of knowledge and wisdom and was a powerful symbol for the royal families. It represents the elements of air and water and is also a key to eternity. For more information on the ankh, download our free Ebook – The Ten Steps to Spiritual Understanding.
EYE OF HORUS – the eye of Horus is a sacred amulet from Egypt known as the Wadjat. It is the left eye of the falcon-headed god Horus, son of the Queen Isis and Pharaoh Osiris of the early kingdom. The symbol holds healing qualities and in truth represents the ancient mystery school, which came to be known as the Egyptian Theraputate. The teachings of this school covered healing, high magic, intuition and divinity.
CADUCEUS- this symbol is currently associated in modern times with the medical profession through its historical links to Asklepios, the god of healing. It is also connected with the god Thoth/Hermes, holding qualities as a messenger through the power of the wings. The rod represents the Tree of Life and the human spine, including our chakras, whereas the two serpents display the power to integrate opposites, merging duality in order to connect with the divine. It is a powerful symbol.
THE SEAL OF MELCHIZEDEK – Also known as the Seal of Solomon and the Star of David, this symbol is created by two interlocking triangles forming the sacred marriage of heaven and earth, spirit and flesh. This is the union that creates the I Am that I Am, or Eyheh Asher Eyheh. The symbol also holds the archetypal pattern held within all star forms, which provides hope for humanity and a heavenly link.
UNICURSAL TRIQUETRA –This trinitized geometric symbol is composed of three arcing lines that interlock in an eternal pattern. Like petals on a flower, it is one thing composed of three integral parts. In Christian tradition this was seen as the trinity of God, but on a deeper level, the three aspects can be seen to represent divine knowledge (father), divine wisdom (mother) and the divine spark (humanity/incarnate form). Further, this pattern is a primary form for the primordial flower of life, the original pattern of creation.
THE LABYRINTH – This complex structure creates a rite of passage for self-realisation, as travelling the pathway (traditionally barefoot), is the journey of the pilgrim, seeking the centre: All that is Divine! In the process, one finds one’s way, discovers truth and meaning, and ultimately, a seeker upon the passage of the labyrinth imprints upon the sub-conscious, a pattern or sequence of movements, required for ascension – a return to the source of life.

THE NAUTILUS SHELL – The patterning for this shell, personifies sacred geometry as it is coded with the mathematical frequency known as the Fibonacci sequence within its’ structure. In nature, this predictable number sequence creates an harmonious fractal which resonates with human energy. This sequence is also closely related to The Golden Mean – the Mathematical  phi, which governs Divine Proportion.
THE MAIYURMA -The heart is a unifying life symbol, being the pulsing centre for human existence. This symbol is a Seichim healing symbol, (also sometimes used in Reiki), it comes from Ancient Egypt and provides love on all levels. The helix crossing the symbol amplifies the effect of unconditional love, inherent in this symbol, making it impossible to ‘over use’ or apply incorrectly. Permission to make this symbol known to those not trained in healing, was granted by the Lord Melchizedek.
THE GRAIL – The chalice, Holy Graal, or cup of Christ is an iconic symbol of the Christian era and the path of the spiritual seeker. It is the quest to find spiritual purpose through service to humanity. It is also a potent feminine symbol for the uterus or sacred womb, which holds the power to generate the continuing line of kingship, seeded from the stars, through ancient civilizations such as Egypt, where the uterus was personified in the dome of the Ankh Key and the Buckle of Isis. The Chalice has continued its’ symbology through the history of Joseph of Arimathea, after the crucifixion of his nephew Jesus in Israel, and the later legends of King Arthur and Perceval. The Tarot cards in recent centuries, have depicted the cup, as the watery elemental suit correlating with emotions and love.
