Melchizedek has been recorded historically as a Priest King of Salem, which we now know as Jerusalem. Salem means peace and this is where we get the title Prince of Peace. Melchizedek appeared as a perfected human on Earth who descended onto our planet without incarnating through birth. Melchizedek is a primary emmanation from the Divine Light of the Godhead. He has only appeared on Earth in a 'human like' form a few times, of which one was a teacher in the Temples of Egypt. He also overlighted the ministerial years of the mission of Jesus in Israel, which is why Jesus is said to have become a High Priest of Melchizedek in the biblical book of Hebrews.

Melchizedek is not associated with a particular religion or man-made organisation. Both the Order of Melchizedek and the Being are cosmic and eternal in nature. Their energy has existed on every planet and dimension throughout the history of existence. Their primary, singular purpose is to expand spiritual evolution through self-realisation and spiritual growth throughout humanity and in all conscious species. These spiritual teachings have underpinned the basis of spiritual learning in ancient civilisations such as Lemuria and Atlantis, as well as Egyptian mystery schools, the Essenes and later fraternities who upheld the Divine principles of consciousness evolution and the advancement of the soul.
